This is definitely the little movie that could. I think this is the most entertaining movie of the year. I have seen it twice and laughed hysterically both times.
I totally agree with giving a nomination to The Departed. It was well done, with great acting. I was so totally shocked that I enjoyed this movie. Babel was a no brainer. It is winning everything. I honestly think that I am going to have to give it a second chance before Oscar night.
I think the Queen was a well done movie, I am not certain that I would call it a Best Picture contender. The acting was what made this movie.
Finally, Letter's From Iwo Jima. This one of the 3 movies that I have not seen. I will suspend my opinion until that time.
